Federal law requires that for all homes built before 1978, buyers receive:
- The EPA pamphlet: Protect Your Family From Lead In Your Home.
- Any known information concerning the presence of lead-based paint
- A standard NC Lead Paint disclosure addendum form (2a9-T)
- Time to inspect and assess risk (Usually part of the “Due Diligence” Period
